Love Hate Hope Ramsgate

We produced this budget, ten minute film for the Ramsgate Arts organisation in Kent. It does exactly what it says on the tin.

The video helped Ramsgate Arts win prime time news coverage on BBC1, along with local and national press coverage. It also helped kick start funding for an annual arts festival which they hope will contribute towards this beautiful Victorian seaside town's regeneration.

Jackie Sadek, chair of the British Urban Regeneration Association, was kind enough to give the event, and the video, a glowing review in her column in the Estates Gazette.

DHL UK Foundation

This ten minute film was produced for the DHL UK Foundation, a charitable offshoot of the global logistics company.

It's designed to encourage employees to get involved in the Foundation by contributing their time to community activities, and volunteering for the various partner projects it supports.

Top Team

Retina was established in 1995 with a remit to bring broadcast quality to business video and audio.

Not only do we apply the creative techniques that TV viewers and radio listeners are familiar with to our business programmes, we also apply the rigorous attention to detail and costs that professional programme-makers insist on.

We're London-based but have worked in every part of the UK, much of Europe, the USA and Australasia. Our core team consists of five people, supplemented by a pool of expert freelancers brought in to address the specific needs of each project. This means we're small enough to offer a friendly, flexible and highly competitive service, yet big enough to cope with the demands of major projects.

Sound Advice

Need to keep your sales force updated while they're on the road? Do management spend 'dead time' driving between locations every week? An audio CD or mp3 download containing all your latest company information could improve their productivity, and make them feel more included in your organisation.

Maybe your engineering workforce or field workers would appreciate technical updates on their mobiles between their daily appointments? Your customers might also appreciate a regular podcast about your organisation, or new products, on your external website. Or perhaps you need to reach elderly, blind and visually impaired customers in an attractive way that will maximise sales. If so, here at Retina we can help.

But we don't just undertake full-scale project management. You can use our friendly, cost-effective expertise for a whole host of individual audio services.

Experience Counts

Whether you're looking for an in-depth training film, or a stylish video that will wow your customers, you've come to the right place. Retina Productions' experience in making mainstream television programmes for the BBC and ITV means you can be sure you're getting the best quality video production, and the best value for money. A product designed specifically for your needs, tailor made by experts.

That's what the BBC were after when they commissioned us to make a series of employee communications videos over three years. The challenge - to raise awareness of radical changes in the way the BBC's finances are accounted for. A difficult task, given that much of the target audience consist of some of the best programme makers in the world, who would be scrutinising not only our production values, but also the amount of public money spent on the project.

Happily, the BBC were delighted with the finished products, so much so that they praised our ideas, high standards, and competitive budgets. To get a taste of the videos we've made for major clients like Royal Sun Alliance, Marks and Spencer and British Gas, take a look at our 60 second webvert.

We'll take care of things at every stage, from audience research, concept and scripting through to filming, editing, duplication and delivery. And we can deliver any style and format, whether it be documentary, drama, training, impact or just a basic Video News Release (VNR).

But we don't just undertake full-scale project management. You can use our friendly, cost-effective expertise for a whole host of individual film and video services.
